Hi, I'm the first? Is this feature new? Anyway, Since I got a nice 7.1 Home theater system when working for (and from) Monster Cable, I've been fascinated by Surround sound and decided I wanted to learn how to create it. This evolved to the desire to do movies/videos as well with surround sound. about 1.5 years ago I started with my iPhone 4 and OWLE Bubo (Billeted aluminum 'case' for iPhone with cheap interchangeable lenses) and a ZOOM H4. I now have a T3i and some Canon Lenses and more sophisticated audio equipment . . . I saw Tom's work on Vimeo and will be following him to get his perspective on essential equipment and techniques for gaining the skills necessary to become a professional in the above mentioned fields.
